I wouldn't count on that. The Prelude book is slated for June, I'm guessing a late summer/early fall 2018 launch. That's 8-9 months from now. That being said, I do agree that the way the mage tower is set up now, being up 1-2 times a week for 2-3 days is just fine, and I personally don't think they should change it at all before BfA. The mage tower appearances are not meant for just everyone to have. You either have the skill/gear to get them done before BfA within the existing parameters, or you don't. And that's how it should be imo.
The mage tower up time is fine as of right now. And it'll likely remain fine throughout the whole expansion. If people want this, they should put in the effort when it's up to achieve it. Basically it.
